15-Year-Old Justin Bieber Tells Racist Joke [VIDEO]

A 15-year-old Justin Bieber told a racist joke to friends ... knowing his own photog was in the room and rolling.
The video was shot backstage at a promotional event early in his career ... where Justin cracked this terrible joke ... "Why are black people afraid of chain saws?"  His punchline, repeatedly saying, "Run N****r."
TMZ got this video 4 years ago but we decided not to post it ... in large part because he was 15 and immediately told his friends what he did was stupid.  People connected with Bieber say one African American was present at the time he told the joke, although that really doesn't matter much.
The video was posted Sunday on a British pay site.
Sources connected with Bieber say he is "frustrated and sad" and now wants to address it publicly, which we're told he will do in the next day.

Justin Bieber -- I'm Sorry For My Racist Joke

Justin Bieber is apologizing for telling a racist joke when he was 15 ... blaming it partly on his age.
Justin tells TMZ, "As a kid, I didn't understand the power of certain words and how they can hurt. I thought it was ok to repeat hurtful words and jokes, but didn't realize at the time that it wasn't funny and that in fact my actions were continuing the ignorance."
Justin goes on, "Thanks to friends and family I learned from my mistakes and grew up and apologized for those wrongs. Now that these mistakes from the past have become public I need to apologize again to all those I have offended."
Justin continues, "I'm very sorry. I take my friendships with people of all cultures very seriously and I apologize for offending or hurting anyone with my childish and inexcusable mistake. I was a kid then and I am a man now who knows my responsibility to the world and to not make that mistake again."
And Justin says, "Ignorance has no place in our society and I hope the sharing of my faults can prevent others from making the same mistake in the future. I thought long and hard about what I wanted to say but telling the truth is always what's right."

Justin ends with this: "Five years ago I made a reckless and immature mistake and I'm grateful to those close to me who helped me learn those lessons as a young man. Once again....I'm sorry."

Floyd Mayweather -- Justin Bieber's Not Racist ... 'We All Make Mistakes'

Floyd Mayweather is going to bat for his friend Justin Bieber -- saying he still SUPPORTS the pop star despite footage that surfaced this weekend showing a 15-year-old Bieber saying the N-word while telling a racist joke.
Floyd -- who's been friends with JB for years -- posted a recent photo where he's posing with Justin and wrote a pretty strong statement explaining why he's got Justin's back:
"Justin has been nothing but kind to me, my daughters and sons over the years," Floyd said ... adding, "We all make mistakes when we are young, it’s part of growing up"
"I am proud of what he’s doing as a 20 year old musician and business man. #TMT"
Justin has since apologized -- saying, "Five years ago I made a reckless and immature mistake and I'm grateful to those close to me who helped me learn those lessons as a young man."

Justin Bieber's Black Ex-Bodyguard: He's Not a Racist

Justin Bieber's ex-bodyguard says the 5-year old video of J.B. telling a joke using the n-word multiple times does NOT make the singer a racist ... just a bad joke-teller.
Kenny Hamilton -- Beiber's bodyguard during his rise to fame -- took to Twitter to defend his former employer ... saying, "We all make jokes about people's size, look, or race. That doesn't mean it's right but comedians make millions of dollars profiting off these jokes."
The ex-bodyguard adds, "If someone is racist or prejudice you would know from a persons actions. Not because of a joke a 15 year old says. Yes he said some bad jokes and I know if he could he would take back what was said."
As we previously reported ... sources connected with Bieber say the singer is "frustrated and sad" about the video being released and will address it publicly.
"As a black man I am telling the world that @justinbieber is not a racist." says Kenny. Adding, "I have known him since he was 12 years old and I know his heart."
For what it's worth, we're told the tweet wasn't done at the behest of Scooter or Justin.
Kenny recently took an executive position at Beats Music -- but is still in regular touch with Biebs.
